She married Edward W. Fletcher, the love of her life, August 18, 1964 at Las Vegas, Nevada.
Willaphene was a loving, kind and generous Mother, Grandmother, Great Grandmother and Friend. She treasured her family and friends. Her “I love you” was always on her lips and genuine from the heart response. All of her family was special to her and she took great pleasure in spoiling them. She gave God credit for everything in her life and constantly vocalized “Thank God” or “Thank You Lord”. She was a self-taught pianist and could read music as well as play by ear. Her children often joked that if you could hum it, she could play it. Her family also enjoyed singing along with her as she entertained them on the piano. Willaphene and Edward were active faithful members of Saint Stephen United Methodist Church since March 7, 1965. They were also active members of the Pathfinders Sunday School Class. She will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.
