Tony Frank Garcia

Tony Frank “T.F.” Garcia, 88 of Amarillo, passed away April 15, 2022.  Tony was born to Paul and Mary Ann Garcia on April 23, 1933, in Fort Collins, CO. He graduated from Texline HS in 1951 and attended Trinidad State College in CO. Tony served his country as a US Army 82nd Airborne Paratrooper from 1953 to 1955. In 1988 he retired from BNSF where he was an assistant communications construction engineer for 33 years. He was a member of the Canyon Country Club, Santa Fe Bowling League and The Church of Christ. He loved golfing and helping his brother harvest wheat. Tony is preceded in death by his parents, one brother, and nine sisters. He is survived by his wife Louise Garcia, of the home, whom he wedded on July 7th, 1956, and were together for nearly 66 years, son, Alex Garcia (wife Janyce) of Amarillo, daughter, LaDon Brown (husband Brandon) of Amarillo, granddaughters; Kelsey Kilburn (fiancée Dawson Davis) of Amarillo and Kallie Kilburn (fiancée Ethan Huchkabay) of Amarillo, sisters; Wilfidita Winn of Amarillo, Mary Lou Skinner of Jacksonville, FL and Delia Stahlecker of Lakin, KS.
