Stella May Zeis

Stella May Zeis, 91, of Amarillo passed away on Monday, May 6, 2019. Graveside services will be at 10:00 am, Saturday, May 11, 2019 at Memory Gardens Cemetery. The will be a viewing and visitation from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm, Friday, May 10, 2019 at LaGrone Blackburn Shaw Martin Road Chapel.

Stella was born in Knott County, Kentucky on August 27, 1927 to Jim and Ora Wooten. She was a housekeeper for Hilton for over twenty years and then became a health care provider for Caprock Home Health Care for over six years. Stella also volunteered at Cornerstone Outreach Center. She loved to spending time with her family and walking her dog around the park.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Richard, two brothers and one sister.

She is survived by her daughter, Carol Sue Zeis; two sons, Harold Zeis and Jerry Zeiss and wife Becky: three grandchildren, Joshua, Mitchell and Kimberly; two great grandchildren, Benjamin and Chasely; three brothers, Buddy Wooten, Charles Wooten and Estille Wooten and five sisters, Bobbie Jean Moss, Clova Charles, Lula Mathis, Shirley Risner and Bessie Wooten.
