Ruby Amparano

Ruby Ulene Gillean Amparano was born December 22,1947 in Leah Lake,Texas to John and Mildred Gillean. She was a high school graduate of Clarendon high school in Clarendon, Texas. At the age of 18, she moved to Inglewood , California where she later met the love of her life and father of her children. Ruby knew no stranger, everyone she met instantly became her friend. On Friday June 4, 2021 Ruby was called home to be with lord at the age of 73. She enjoyed bird watching, quilting, drinking her Dr Pepper, and being with her family. In her pass time you could find her in her garden picking her peaches or watering her flowers. She was a loving wife, mother, daughter, sister, aunt, grandmother, great grandmother and friend who will be greatly missed by her loved ones.

She is preceded in death by her parents, John and Mildred Gillian; father and mother in law, Ernesto and Catalina Amparano; sister, Pauline Robinson, and son, John E. Amparano.

Ruby is survived by her husband of 54 years of marriage Ralph Amparano of Amarillo, Texas, daughter, Jennifer Amparano of Amarillo, Texas, and Angela (Steven) Jack of Providence Village, Texas; daughter in law, Benita Amparano; grandchildren, Jenna Simone Amparano, Noah Zachariah Amparano, John Ernest Amparano Jr, Chloe Ulene Arreola, Luis Rosalio Arreola Jr, Ashley Lilian Jack; and great grandchildren Aiden and Penelope.

Visitation will be held on Monday June 7, 2021 at 6:00 P.M at La Grone Blackburn- Shaw Funeral Home. Funeral services will be celebrated June 8,2021 at 2:00 P.M. at La Grone Blackburn- Shaw Funeral Home on Martin road. Burial will follow at the Citizens cemetery at Clarendon, Texas.
