Richard Mark Proffitt

          Richard Mark Proffitt 61, of Amarillo passed away July 9, 2022. On December 26, 1960 he was born to Raymond and Joyce Proffitt. He married Crystal Proffitt in 1982, and had 40 wonderful years of marriage.

          Richard worked as a plant manager of production, at Canyon ISD, Georgia Pacific, and International Paper. He loved spending time with his dogs. In his spare time he enjoyed fishing, camping, golfing, playing quarters, and watching the Cowboys play football.

          He is survived by wife Crystal Proffitt, kids Tyson and Ashley Proffitt, brother Leonard Jack Kelly, many nieces and nephews.

Richard was proceeded in death by son Ryan Proffitt parents Raymond and Joyce Proffitt .
