Raul Gomez

Raul T. Gomez, 59, of Canyon passed away on March 4, 2021. Raul was born May 9, 1961 in Dimmitt, Texas to Severo and Constancia Gomez.

Raul is survived by his wife of 20 years, Paula Jean Gomez; his daughter, Ashton Gomez; his son, Jarrad Gomez; 4 brothers, Eloy Gomez, Ray Gomez, Severo Gomez, and Tony Gomez; 3 sisters, Angie Villareal, Florinda Barrera and Sharon Arellano and 5 grandchildren.

Raul is preceded in death by his parents, Severo and Constancia Gomez; his brother, Tino Gomez and his sister, Armandina Gomez.

Raul graduated from Dumas High School in 1979. For the last 40 years Raul has owned Cornerstone Insurance & Investments. He was a member of Hillside Christian Church. Raul enjoyed watching the Dallas Cowboys and San Antonio Spurs and the Detroit “Bad Boys” Pistons.  He loved riding motorcycles, building cars and boating.
