Ramona Essary

Ramona Essary, 81, of Amarillo passed from this life on Friday, December 28, 2018. Family and friends will gather to celebrate her life at 10:00 am Friday, January 4, 2019 in LaGrone Blackburn Shaw Coulter Road Chapel with Carlos Cranford officiating. Arrangements are under the personal care of LaGrone Blackburn Shaw Funeral Directors, 8310 S. Coulter Road.

Ramona was born on August 31, 1937 in Turkey, Texas to Cleto and Geneve Cruz. She worked as a meat processor at Furrs Foods for 23 years. She married Randy Essary on September 24, 1983 in Amarillo. She was very creative where she enjoyed painting and dancing.

She was preceded in death by her parents, two sons, Ric Davis and Jody Davis, a brother, Joe Cruz, and a sister, Debbie Milspaugh.

Left to cherish her memory is her husband, Randy Essary; four sisters, Bea Cranford, Teresa Robertson, Judy Hernandez, and Carmel Gonzales; two brothers, Steve Cruz and Roberto Cruz; four grandchildren, Chad Davis, Reca Land, April Lemons and Maressa Treat; six great grandchildren, Richard, Joelie, Anzley Grace, Alexis, Coldon, Maegan and ; four great great grandchildren, Reya, Stetson, Sophie, and Carson; and a special friend, Mary Jane Alva.
