Lorena Sotelo

Lorena Sotelo, 41, of Amarillo passed from this life on Sunday, February 17, 2019. A rosary service will be held at 6:00 pm on Wednesday, February 20, 2019 followed by a visitation until 8:00 pm in LaGrone Blackburn Shaw Coulter Road Chapel. Mass of christian burial will be held at 2:00 pm Thursday, February 21, 2019 at St. Joseph Catholic Church with Rev. Juan Carlos Barragan as Celebrant. Burial will follow in Memory Gardens Cemetery. Arrangements are under the personal care of LaGrone Blackburn Shaw Funeral Directors, 8310 S. Coulter Road.

Lorena Sotelo was born in Delicias, Mexico on November 28, 1977 to Roberto and Maria Nava. Lorena married Armando Sotelo in Cactus, Texas on July 5, 1998 and together they raised their three daughters. She was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church and a homemaker. She was an awesome, caring, selfless person who loved spending time with her family. Lorena will be remembered as a great daughter, wife, mother, sister and aunt, who will be missed by all who loved and knew her.

Left to cherish her memory is her husband, Armando Sotelo; her daughters, Selena Nava, Desiree Sotelo and Idaly Sotelo; her parents, Roberto and Maria Nava; two brothers, Rogelio Nava and Carlos Nava; a sister Stefhanie Nava; and various other family members.
