Jose Angel Velazquez Tinoco

Jose Angel Velazquez Tinoco, 44, of Amarillo passed away on July 6, 2020. Rosary will be said at 6:00 pm, Thursday, July 9, 2020 at LaGrone Blackburn Shaw Martin Road Chapel. Mass of Christian Burial will be at 11:00 am, Friday, July 10, 2020 at St. Laurence Catholic Church with Father Haider Quintero as Celebrant. Burial will be in Memory Gardens Cemetery.

Jose was born on April 4, 1976 in Michoacan, Mexico to Juan and Isabella Velazquez. Jose attended school in Mexico before moving to Amarillo over twenty years ago. He was a cook at La Fiesta restaurant. Jose loved to play soccer and grilling outside, but his favorite thing to do was to be with his family and he will be greatly missed.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents.

He is survived by his parents, Juan and Isabella Velazquez; two daughters, Astrid Velazquez and Jasmine Velazquez; two sons, Kevin Velazquez and Christopher Velasquez; one sister, Anita Velazquez; three brothers, Federico Velazquez and wife Maria, Gilberto Velazquez and wife Maria and Amparo Velazquez and wife Sulma; two aunts, Rosa Tinoco and Claudia Velazquez; three uncles, Sidilo Velazquez, Socorro Velazquez and Natividad Velazquez; nephew Jesus Velazquez and many other nieces and nephews in Mexico and Pennsylvania
