Gaye Lynn Nyquist

Gaye Lynn Nyquist passed unexpectedly from this life Sunday February 28th in Midlothian, TX. Graveside service will be held Friday, March 5th at 2:00 p.m. at Memorial Park Cemetery at 6969 I-40, East Amarillo, TX with Ricky Griffin officiating.

Gaye was born September 30, 1955 in Amarillo, TX to Shirley and L.A. Nyquist. She attended Amarillo schools graduating from Caprock HS in 1974. She combined her work and love of traveling by becoming a traveling surgical tech where she made many life long friends. She spent the last part of her career as an instructor at the Fortis Institute in Grand Prairie, TX teaching future surgical techs.

She is survived by her uncle and aunt, LG. and Alvern McDowell, sisters Valree King of Lawton, OK and Staci Barnett Frye of Fort Worth, Tx. Her nephews Tanner Milson, Canon and Gunnar Frye, niece Rylea Milson Sadler, and great niece Millie McDowell Sadler.

While her loved ones will miss her, they take great comfort in knowing where she is and that they will see her again someday!
