Frances Faylene Boehning

Frances Faylene Boehning, 84, of Amarillo, Texas passed away on Wednesday, May 12, 2021. Frances was born on October 10, 1936 in Grapevine, Texas to Ada LaVelle and Alvin McNew. She met Lawrence Boehning and later married him in 1953 spending a wonderful 64 years together. Frances enjoyed hobbies like crocheting, gardening and dancing. She also loved to take (Just us girls) trips with her daughters as well as the One Armed Bandit in Las Vegas. Frances was a kind and loving soul who will be missed by all who adore her.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Lawrence Boehning; a brother, David McNew and two grandchildren, Amy Sherrill and David Jackson.

She is survived by her 4 daughters, Cathy Baker and wife Constance, Barbara Sherrill and husband Robert, Patsy Kelley and husband John, Margie Moir and husband Scot; 1 son, Richard Boehning and wife Kaye; 1 sister, Patsy Sue Newby; 14 grandchildren; 22 great-grandchildren and 6 great-great-grandchildren.
