Fabian Torres III

Fabian Torres III, 54, of Groom passed away surrounded by family on Sunday, March 8, 2020. Memorial services will be at 2pm, Friday, March 13, 2020 at First Baptist Church of Groom with Pastor Andy Dietz officiating.

Fabian was born on July 12, 1965 in Sinton, TX to Fabian and Aurora Torres. He graduated from Clarendon High School and married Tonda Weller on February 14, 1991 in Amarillo. Fabian worked for HOV pickup and delivery for seventeen years. He was also a car salesman for the last four years. Fabian enjoyed traveling and watching his sons play softball, was a huge Groom Tigers and Dallas Cowboys fan and loved to play Bingo, but his love for his family and spending time with them was his greatest pleasure.

He was preceded in death by his father, Fabian Torres Jr.

He is survived by his wife, Tonda; two sons, Eric Torres and girlfriend Destiney Tatum and Jacob Torres and wife Mackenzie; two grandsons, Benjamin Jack and Beau Weller Torres; his mother, Aurora Torres; one sister, Rachel Gregory and husband Tom; three brothers, Joe Torres and wife Rosie, Richard Torres and wife Mary and Danny Torres and numerous other family members and friends.
