Donna Mae Robbins

January 14, 1945 — September 24, 2022

Donna Mae (Woods) Robbins was a caring Daughter, sister, wife, mother, grandmother, and friend. She left this world on September 24th, 2022, at age 77, and she was reunited with her mother Majorie Hartman, her father Howard Roy Woods, her brother Jerry Woods, and her son Francis Edward Robbins “JR”

Donna met the love of her life John “Jack” Robert Sample at a wedding on September 3rd, 1988 in Fritch TX.  After a long-distance relationship, Donna moved to Massachusetts to strengthen their relationship.  During the time she spent there, she worked at Brooks.  In 1995, they moved to Amarillo, TX where she began employment at Lowe’s until her eventual retirement, building and growing with her family.  After her retirement, Donna and Jack spent several years traveling in their camper to visit family, and friends and enjoying the National parks (and every so often the odd casino) from one side of the country to the other.  With the many grand, great-grand, and great-great-grandchildren Donna has, it was not uncommon to see her holding a baby. The last 7 years of her life she spent taking care of her two Great-Granddaughters Madelyn and Espin, from which she became known as Damma.

Surviving Donna is Life partner Jack Sample, her siblings, Nancy Walsh, Ruth Sales, and spouse Reggie, Larry Woods and spouse Shirleen, Felicia Cobb, and Priscilla Heartman, Best Friend Jene Gray, her children Debbie Robbins Anaya and spouse Ricky, Adam Robbins, Andrea Sample Spray and spouse John “Jes”. Grandchildren Brandon Smith and spouse Tana, Bradley Smith and spouse Jessica, Aric Robbins and spouse Brook, Emmalee Robbins-Escobedo and spouse Sabian, Justin Golden, Alicia Golden, Kris Anaya, and spouse Jaime, and Karrie Anaya.  Her Great-grandkids Ivanna Sharp, Brittani Wauson and spouse Tyler, Jayden Smith, Lyssa Smith, Lynnae Smith, Ryan Smith, Presley Robbins, Wyatt Robbins, Madelyn Escobedo, Espin Escobedo, Daniel Escobedo, Anthony Anaya, Michael Anaya, Shaylea Anaya, Ambria Green, and spouse Ashton, Royce Bradley, Angel Lay, Sammie Lay, Daegan-Elias Kirk, and 4 great-great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews who she loved dearly.
