July 11, 1940 — April 27, 2020

A Graveside Service will be held at 10:00 am Wednesday, May 6, 2020 at Cee Vee Cemetery with James Farren officiating.

Charlotte Ann Riddell was born July 11, 1940 in Amarillo to W.J. and Lois Carroll. Charlotte married Gaylean Riddell on February 7, 1958 before graduating high school, moved to Cee Vee TX, and had her first child a year later. She was a stay at home mom and farm hand for many years (lol). She then began a career as the bookkeeper at a cotton gin in Childress, TX shortly after the family moved there in the early 70s. Later in life she became a rural route postal employee running the Tell/Northfield TX route from Childress. Her hobbies included china painting, golf, cooking and canning. But her most looked forward to event each year was a trip to the Upper Rio Grande in Southwest Colorado to go camping and trout fishing.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Gaylean Riddell, a daughter Kristy Riddell, a brother Gordie Carroll and granddaughter Jordan Riddell

She is survived by her son, Rusty Riddell and wife Debra, her three brothers, Kenneth Carroll and wife Carol, Bob Carroll and wife Barbara and Ricci Carroll; Granddaughters, Molly Riddell and Ashley Garza and husband Joseph, and a Grandson Payton Riddell and four great grandchildren, Rileigh Foster, Tristan Garza, Karsyn Garza and Paizlee Garza.
