Charles Peyton Cox Jr.

Charles “Totty” Peyton Cox Jr., 70, passed away on June 16, 2021 in Amarillo. Charles was born on April 6, 1951 in Amarillo, Texas to Norma Jo and Charles Peyton Cox Sr… He attended and graduated from Palo Duro High School. Charles later went to work as a truck driver and did that up until retiring. He loved watching his NASCAR, Football and any other sports that he could bet on. Charles was a cowboy who loved his kids, dogs and family more than anything. He will be deeply missed by all who adored him.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Charles Peyton Cox Sr. and Norma Jo Cox.

He is survived by his wife, Marilyn Cox; his sons, Peyton Ross Cox and Adam House and wife Terri; his daughters, Kimberly Luckett and husband Shane of Baytown, TX, Amber Martin and husband Steve of Sunrise Beach, MO, Shannon Wieland and husband Eric of Tulare, CA, Shelby Hill of Gaithersburg, MD and Summer Hill; his sisters, Josie Cassidy of Amarillo and Doris Mercer of Amarillo and numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.
