Carmelo Nava, 69, of Amarillo passed from this life on Wednesday, July 18, 2018, surrounded by his family.
Carmelo was born on July 16, 1949 in Chihuahua, Mexico to Rito Nava and Francisca Gonzalez. He met Janie Altamirano over twenty-two years ago and he lovingly raised her children with her. He was a hard working man who loved to cook and grill. He adored his children and grandchildren. Carmelo loved to watch western movies and being outdoors. He will be missed so much.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Rito Nava and Francisca Gonzalez.
Those left to cherish his memory are his loving wife, Janie Altamirano, of the home; and eight children,
Carmelo Nava, Jr., Adrian Campos, Leticia Nava, Tony Oronia, Felix Oronia, Jr., Jonathan Altamirano, Brandi Krob and April Olivarez. He is also survived by 17 grandchildren and one brother, Ezequiel Nava.
