Alton Louis Fox

Alton Louis Fox 83, of Amarillo passed away July 27, 2022. He was born to William Fox and Sarah Garner on September 20, 1938.

He joined the Navy in 1957 and served aboard the USS Noble as a member of the Infantry until 1961. After his service he was a supervisor for SPS retiring 38 years later. Alton was a member of the VFW and Elks. He was a big fan of the Cowboys. He loved fishing and dirt bike riding he was known best for helping people friend, foe or stranger it did not matter.

Alton is survived by his wife Claireen Fox, children Steve and Dina Fox, Mike Fox, Leslie and Daniel Priest, Monty Johnson, Jackie Linton, siblings, Garland and Frances Fox, and Janice Fox.

He is preceded in death by his parents William and Sarah Fox, sisters Frances Wright, Wanda Allen, Dorothy Tate, brothers Buddy Fox, Lemond Fox, and Edwin Fox.
