It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Vixiene Keoduangta, age 79, of Amarillo, Texas. She passed away peacefully on October 16, 2026. Sunrise on March 2, 1947, in Laos. She lived a remarkable journey through life marked by warmth, generosity, and an unwavering devotion to those she loved. A beloved wife, mother, and a faithful servant of God, she lived each day with grace and a heart open to others. She found deep joy and expressed her love most naturally through her cooking—turning every meal into an act of hospitality, comfort, and love for family, friends, and anyone in need. Her faith was the anchor of her life, and her gentle spirit left a lasting impression on everyone blessed to know her. She is survived by her loving husband, Sylam; her children, Rassamy, Mokeena, and her sister, Dy Bouphasouth of Wichita, KS; as well as a large circle of extended family and church family whose lives she touched deeply.
"Do nothing out of selfish ambition or vain conceit. Rather, in humility value others above yourselves," Philippians 2:3
