Laverne was born on December 24, 1928 in Matador, TX to Alfred Eark and Vera Lottie Van Camp. She was married to Louie Sarrett for over 62 years. She was a member of Friendship Baptist Church. Laverne was a loving wife, mother and grandmother.
Survivors include: 2 sons, Butch Sarrett of Amarillo and Donnie Sarrett and wife Paula of Amarillo; 3 daughters, Linda Oltmanns of Amarillo, Joy Everett and husband Joe of Lubbock and Jenelle Goforth of Austin; 10 grandchildren; 7 great grandchildren and a brother, Virgil Van Camp and wife Ann of Amarillo.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband Louie George Sarrett, Jr. and her brother and sister.
