Vantha Sikalasinh, 77, of Amarillo, Texas, passed away on Tuesday, August 25, 2026, surrounded by his family. Funeral services are scheduled for Friday, August 28, 2026, from 12-2pm at LaGrone Blackburn-Shaw Funeral Home Martin Road Chapel. The family will receive friends for a visitation on Thursday, August 27, 2026, from 12-7pm at the funeral home.

Vantha was born on August 10, 1949, in Laos. He worked as a head chef at Air America. He moved to the United States in 1978 and began working at IBP for over 20 years until he retired. Vantha also worked as a cook at My Thai as well. He married Marn Keokhounmaung in 1968 and together they shared 58 years of marriage. Vantha had a great love for fishing at Lake Meredith. He also loved wrestling and football and proudly watched the Dallas Cowboys.

Survivors left to cherish Vantha’s memory are his wife, Marn Sikalasinh; his children, Souvan Sikalasinh, Amanda Boudpha and Souradeth Lay Sikalasinh; his two brothers, three sisters, four grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
