Tommy Glenn Munholland

Born on January 23, 1944 in McAllister, OK, to Elmer Lee Munholland and Tommie Oakes. He joined the Navy in 1962, where he served in Vietnam on the USS Salisbury Sound. He was honorably discharged in 1965.

Tommy and Carol met in August 1965. They were married on February 17, 1966.

His daughter Kirsten Kay was born August 16, 1966, and his daughter Jennifer Lynn on July 22, 1969.

Tommy drove a long-haul truck for 32 years.

He enjoyed taking day trips with Carol on their show trike and then just in the car with their dog, Gabby, in the later years. Tom had many friends and enjoyed singing karaoke.

He was independent, stubborn, and very proud of it. He did all his own vehicle maintenance, yard work, and home repair up until July of this year.

Tommy went to be with the Lord on August 21, 2026. He was surrounded by his loving wife, family and friends. He was greeted in Heaven by his daughter, Jennifer, who left us on December 4, 2017.

Left on earth to remember, love and mourn him are his wife of 60 years, Carol, his daughter, Kirsten Munholland, 4 grandchildren: Sara Hernandez & husband Miguel, Bethani Winn & husband Trenton, Zachry Honea & wife Danielle and Darby Honea; along with 10 great-grandchildren.

He loved his family, but above all, in every circumstance, he chose his wife. That love is a legacy he should be remembered for.
