She was an only child, however she lived in a way that made everyone feel like family. She cared for the tired and weary and for the underdog. She often ignored her own problems just to lend an ear to anyone who needed to talk. She was sentimental, taking comfort in the peace of her memories. She was also passionate about her hobbies. She loved arts and crafts. She collected all things beautiful, like buttons and sea glass and beads. She always had a picture to go with a wild story. She was fun and loved a good get-together with close friends or family. In her time here, she experienced the full spectrum of what life had to offer, good and bad, and still kept her wit and good nature. She is once again dancing with her husband Tommy and receiving the biggest bear hugs from her son Joshua Francies She is loved and will be missed by all who knew her.
Sylvia was proceeded in death by her parents, Harvey and Delores. Her beloved husband Tommy Lynn Shannon and her son, Joshua Matthew Francies.
