Con profundo dolor, la familia de Sulema Vega anuncia su fallecimiento pacífico el 16 de diciembre de 2025. Sulema fue una luz brillante que llenó de alegría y amor a todos los que la conocieron. Amaba reír, sonreír, bailar y expresar su amor a través de la cocina, reuniendo a familiares y amigos alrededor de la mesa. Disfrutaba del orden, de pasar tiempo al aire libre y de momentos en el río con su familia.
La sobreviven su esposo Raul Vega; sus hijas Denisse, Vanessa y Julissa; sus nietos Misael, Layne y Kaylani; su madre Margarita; y sus hermanos y hermanas. Falleció precedida por: su padre, Dionicio; sus hermanos Alfonso y José Luis; y su hermana Anita.
