Souay Sayaphouthone, 67, of Amarillo passed away on Saturday, September 5, 2015. Funeral service will be at 2:00 pm Thursday, September 10, 2015 at LaGroneBlackburn Shaw Martin Road Chapel. Arrangement are by LaGrone Blackburn Shaw Funeral Directors, 1505 Martin Road.
Souay Sayaphouthone was born on March 8, 1948 to Thit-Thongmy and Mountha Keokoumphone, in Vientaine, Laos. She moved to Amarillo in 1981 where she worked as a production worker at Tyson Foods for 28 years before retiring in 2013. She was a Buddhist. She enjoyed watching her Thai Drama, gardening and walking.
She was preceded in death by her parents, 7 brothers, and 5 sisters.
She is survived by her children, Lam Khamvongsa, KingkeoKhomthirath, Ket Inpeng, Chanthasone Sayaphouthone, Phetsakhone Sayaphouthone, Pathoumphone Sengsouriya, and Evalyn C. Saenz; 9 grandchildren, and a great granddaughter.
