Ronald Alvin Beard

Ronald Beard, 65, of Amarillo, passed away on Tuesday, February 1st, 2022.  He was born on July 5th, 1956 in Breckenridge, Texas to Dewey and Alco Beard.

Ronald worked for Affiliated Foods for twenty three years as a truck driver. He was a fan of the Houston Texans.  He liked to watch television, gambling and playing games on his phone.

He was preceded in death by his parents Dewey and Alco Beard, one brother James Beard and two sisters Donna Wright and Barbara Junell and a Great Granddaughter, Amara Rum Beard.

He is survived by his wife, Virginia Beard;  one daughter Cynthia Mendoza and husband Patrick; two sons Chris Beard and Jeremy Beard; two sisters Darlene Acker and Lisa Wright; one brother Mike Beard; Eight Grandchildren; Three Great Grandchildren and two more on the way.

Service for Mr. Beard will be at 10:00 A.M. on Monday, February 7th, 2022 at the LaGrone Blackburn Shaw Funeral Home Chapel, 1505 Martin Road.
