R H "Bill" Keesee, 87, of Amarillo died on Wednesday, April 23, 2014. Funeral Services will be at 10:00 am, Saturday, April 26, 2014 at LaGrone Blackburn Shaw Martin Road Chapel. Burial will follow in Llano Cemetery.
R H Keesee was born on December 8, 1926 in Vinson, Oklahoma to Benjamin and Irene Keesee, R H proudly served his country in the Army during WWII. R H married his wife, Geraldine in 1946 in Amarillo. He worked as a welder for Colorado Interstate Gas Company. R H loved animals especially horses. He raised and enjoyed riding his horses. He loved his coffee and going fishing. R H was a free Mason and had a very dry sense of humor. R H treasured spending time with his grandchildren and great grandchildren.
He is preceded in death by his parents, his wife Geraldine, a son Benny Lowell, a sister Inez and a brother Vernon.
He is survived by his daughter, Vicki Thompson and husband Allen of Amarillo; two grandsons, Joey Clark and wife Melissa of Amarillo and Jason Clark and wife Julie of Lafayette, LA; a granddaughter Neely DeWall of San Antonio and four great grandchildren.
The family will be receiving friends from 5-7 pm , Friday, April 25, 2014 at LaGrone Blackburn Shaw Martin Road Chapel, 1505 Martin Road.
