Miguel Cantu

Miguel Cantu, a loving father, brother, and cherished friend, passed away peacefully on October 20, 2025, at the age of 58.

Those who knew Miguel will remember his quick wit, his easy laughter, and the way he could brighten any room just by being in it. He had a wonderful gift for finding humor in life’s everyday moments and helping others see the lighter side, even when times were hard.

As a father, Miguel was a steady source of love, laughter, and encouragement. His daughters were the heart of his world, and he filled their lives with jokes, advice, and the kind of laughter that stays with you. As a brother, he was loyal and caring — always ready with a funny story, a listening ear, or a reason to smile.

Miguel is survived by his daughters, Brianna Cantu and Marissa Fields; his brother, Manuel Cantu; and his sisters, Eva Cantu and Edna Cantu. He will be deeply missed by his family and by the many friends whose lives he brightened with his humor and heart.

A celebration of Miguel’s life will be held on Wednesday, October 22, 2025, at 3:00 p.m. at LaGrone Blackburn-Shaw Funeral Home on Coulter. In keeping with his joyful spirit, the family encourages those attending to share a favorite story or memory that captures his warmth and laughter.

Though his laughter has fallen silent, its echo will live on — in every smile, every shared story, and every moment of joy he inspired.
