Martha Patricia Picazo, known to her family as Paty, died July 5, 2026. She was 34 years old. Beloved daughter of Irene Delgado Castañeda and the late Norberto Picazo Guitierrez. Paty was born and grew up in Rio Grande, Zac, Mexico, where she later moved at the age of 12 years old to Amarillo, Tx where she attended Sam Houston Middle School and Tascosa High School before working in Excel and Casey Carpets.

To her family and friends, Paty was in the truest sense, everyone’s favorite aunt. She brought immense joy and warmth to everyone gathering, often remembered for her smile and positive outlook of life. She had an incredible gift for making everyone feel special, offering a space and unconditional love to those around her.

Her truest passion was her family. She was the family planner, the one who remembered every birthday and the glue that held so many traditions together. With a zest for life, she was a true embodiment of adventure and spontaneity. Whether she was planning her next trip. To seeing the beauty of things life had to offer. Makeup to express her creative identity or photography to capture life moments. Her smile, patience, and grit in moving forward no matter the circumstances she faced.

She is lovingly remembered by her mother, Irene Delgado Castañeda; her siblings, Iliana, Hilda, and Iran Picazo; her nieces and nephews, Melanie, Yarai, Jael, Denisse, Aarón, Said, Jayden, Daleyza, Matthew, Josue, and Dalett; and a large extended family who will miss her deeply.
