Linda Josephine Wright

Linda Josephine Wright, 76, earned her angel wings on October 6th, 2023 with her girls by her side.

Mrs. Wright was born on July 17, 1947 to Harvie and Nan Grueter in Elk City, Oklahoma. She graduated from St. Mary’s High School in Amarillo, Texas in 1965. She worked at Maywood, Inc. and TDCJ Clements Unit.

She was feisty, funny and always supportive. She enjoyed card games, traveling, and her time with family and friends.

Survivors include her sisters, Karren Clugy of Amarillo, and Deronda Bailey and husband Richard of Hideaway, Texas; two daughters, Brandy Paulino and husband Joe of San Antonio, Texas and Susan Dorris and husband Jeff of Amarillo; four grandchildren, Skyler Olivas and wife Adriana, Alicia Paulino, Sydney Goodson, and Alex Paulino; and one great-grandchild, Aizen.  Her resiliency, love and humor will be abundantly missed.

Private family services to be held at a later date.

The family would like to express their deepest appreciation and gratitude to the wonderful staff of Hillside Heights Nursing Home for the exceptional care that Linda received over the past 5 years.
