Kendra Stashi

Kendra Stashi, 37, of Amarillo, Texas, passed away on Wednesday, August 27, 2025. The family will have a memorial service at 10am, Saturday, September 13, 2025 at The Loft Church in Amarillo.

Kendra was born on November 24, 1987, to Randy and Sherri Melton in Amarillo, Texas. She graduated in 2007 from Richard Milburn Academy. Kendra married the love of her life, Curtis Stashi, on April 18, 2015, and together they shared over 10 years of marriage, filled with love, laughter and precious memories. Kendra was an exceptionally wonderful cook and enjoyed preparing delicious meals and baking for her family. Her signature deviled eggs will be greatly missed at Thanksgiving. She found great joy in traveling, especially to Kansas City, Green Bay and Dallas. She was a proud and devoted mother to her two sons, Ethan and Korban. They were the light of her life, and she always put them first. Kendra loved attending her sons football games and could be found cheering on her favorite player, Korban #26. She also loved playing Mortal Combat with her son, Ethan. Kendra had a heart of pure gold and was incredibly selfless and giving. She was always willing to help others, even if she had little herself. Her love extended not only to her family and friends but also to her beloved dogs—Loki, Redd, and Kato. Kendra’s legacy is one of love, generosity, and devotion. She will be remembered for her radiant spirit, her kindness, and the countless ways she touched the lives of those around her.

Kendra was preceded in death by her maternal grandparents, Lyndon Hobbs and Rena Hobbs; paternal grandmother, Mildred Melton; her aunt, Teri Lynn Turrell; her mother-in-law, Debi Stashi; grandparents in-law, Larry Porter and Doris and Dick Littau; her favorite cousin and best friend, Lindsay Wolbach and her beloved dog, Dallas.

Survivors left to cherish Kendra’s memory are her husband, Curtis Stashi; her sons, Ethan Melton and girlfriend, Chloe McClenny and Korban Stashi and girlfriend, Mikayla Mendez; her parents, Randy and Sherri Melton; her sister, Terra Melton; her brother, Jess Melton; her parents in-law, Rob and Gale Stashi; her brothers in-law, Brayden Stashi, Robert Stashi and wife, Shelbie, Brice Melendez, Breck Melendez and wife, Kristen, Liam Hudson and husband, Chris; her aunt, Mindy Mitchell and husband, Joe; her cousin, Kristy Turrell; her nieces, Aubrea Melton and Aydriana Melton; her special family friends, Kolton King, Jaden Griffen, Aiden Sosebee and Aaron Sosebee; her fur babies, Loki, Redd and Kato and several aunts, uncles and cousins who will all miss her greatly.
