Kathy Vansouptheth, 64, of Amarillo died on Monday, September 14, 2015. Funeral service will be at 1:00 pm, Saturday, September 18, 2015 at LaGrone Blackburn Shaw Coulter Road Chapel. Arrangements are under the direction of LaGrone Blackburn Shaw Funeral Directors, 8310 S Coulter Road.
Kathy was born on August 3, 1951 in Luangprabang, Laos to Thai and Moune Sengchanh. She married Khamkieng Ackhavong and she was a homemaker.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
She is survived by her husband, of Amarillo, a daughter, Jackie Simmalavong and her husband, Tho; grandsons, Thairyn Simmalavong and Truu Simmalavong, all of Las Vegas; sisters, Nangchanpen Sengchanh, of Taiwan, and Khamla Khottavongsa of Minnesota.
