Katherine Reams

Katherine Rudee Reams, 81, of Amarillo, Texas, passed away peacefully on September 19, 2025. She was born on June 23, 1944, in Hoisington, Kansas, to Elizabeth (Moore) and Gerald Roy Moore.

Kathy was preceded in death by her beloved husband, James Carrol Reams, and her parents. She is survived by her three sons, Greg Reams, Coby Reams and his wife Kari, and Christopher Reams and his wife Kim; her grandchildren, Rafe Reams, Allegra Reams, Connor Reams, Mackenzie Reams, Rhiannon Reams, and Ethan Guest; many great-grandchildren; and a large extended family who will carry her memory forward.

Known for her kind and caring nature, Kathy had a deep love for all living creatures. Her pets were her constant companions, and her heart was always open to animals in need. She found joy in the beauty of the mountains and treasured time spent with her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. Her warmth, gentleness, and love will continue to inspire those who knew her.
