Juannella "Bobo" Crisp

Juannella Crisp, of Amarillo, passed away on Wednesday, April 30, 2025. She was 91. Born June 18, 1933, in Dallas, Texas to Jesse and Ruth Blakeway and moved to Amarillo as a teenager. She married Walter J Crisp in 1953, they were married for 37 years before his passing in 1990. Juannella was a Health Aide for Lee Bivins Elementary for 25 years before retiring in 1996. She was a member of Temple Baptist Church since 1949, she worked the youth at Temple for over 50 years.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Walter; daughter Beth Eaves; sisters, Carole Goodnight and Mary Ann Beyers and a granddaughter, Megan Parks.

Survivors include her son, Blake Crisp and wife, Dane of San Ramon, CA; her daughter, Melissa Parks and husband, Bill, of Amarillo; four grandchildren, Jeremy Eaves, of Frisco, Dallas Eaves and wife, Abbie, of Amarillo, Sabre Bennett and husband, Kurt, of New Deal, Texas, Nathan Parks, of Amarillo and Ryan Crisp, of San Ramon, California; her great-grandchildren, Colt, Tucker, CJ and Luke.

The family requests memorial donations be made to Temple Baptist Church Youth Department.

A celebration of life will be held May 31, 2025, at 1:00pm at Temple Baptist Church.
