Juan Gallegos

April 22, 1955 — February 13, 2020

Juan “Lalo” Gallegos 64, of Amarillo died on February 13, 2020.Viewing will be from 5:00 pm – 7:00 pm on Thursday, February 20, 2020 at LaGrone -Blackburn-Shaw Funeral Home, 1505 Martin Rd. Funeral will be Friday, February 21, 2020 at 2:00 pm. The service will be officiated by Pastor Matt Johnson of The Loft Church.

Juan “Lalo” was born in Eagle Pass, Texas in 1955 to Arturo and Conception Rincon. Juan dropped out of school in the 6th grade to work  the fields to help take care of his family. He has always been a hard working and generous man. He worked at J. Lee Milligan for 30 plus years and he was always the first person to show up when anyone needed help.  He loved taking trips to the mountains in Red River and making memories with his family. He enjoyed fishing, gardening, and most of all the Dallas Cowboys and the Texas Rangers.

He was preceded in death by his parents and his brother, Rey “Nano” Rincon.

He is survived by his son Michael Gallegos and his wife, Brandy Gallegos and daughter, Connie Klein all of Amarillo, TX. Many brother and sisters throughout Texas, Michigan, and the Pennsylvania area; six grandkids and one great granddaughter.

Juan was loved and will be missed by many.
