Jose Rodriguez 69 of Amarillo, Texas passed away December 30, 2020. He was born November 26, 1951 in Weslaco, Texas to Abel and Tomasa-Gallegos-Rodriguez.
He is survived by his fiancé Margarita Madrigal; sons Tomas, Michael, and Richard Rodriguez; sisters Carmen Torres, Hope Garza and Mary Obman; brothers Arthur, Robert, Tony and Armando Rodriguez; 10 grandchildren; 3 great-grandchildren.
He is preceded death by his father Abel Rodriguez; mother Tomas Gallegos-Rodriguez and brother Abel Jr Rodriguez.
He was a graduate of Hereford High School Class of 71. He went to Amarillo College for Technical training. He was a veteran of the US Army and retired from Bell Helicopter Jose enjoyed riding his motorcycle, playing poker, pool and chess. He enjoyed hosting game day @Joe’s and making confetti eggs.
