Jose "Joe" Raul Galvan Ortiz

Jose (Joe) Raul Galvan-Ortiz Born February 20th, 1958, of Dumas, Texas, peacefully passed away August 23rd, 2025.

Joe was a beloved son, brother and uncle. He will always be remembered as a very kind and generous person who always helped people out and had a heart of gold. He worked for S.B Foot Tanning Company for 10 years. On his free time, he enjoyed watching movies and shows such as Star Wars and Star Trek. Joe was also a big Marvel fan; his favorite superhero is Captain America. He also enjoyed listening to classic rock music and

working on cars.

Jose is survived by his only sister, Herlinda Martinez and brother-in-law, Ricardo Martinez and countless nieces and nephews.

He is preceded in death by his parents; Reymundo S. Ortiz & Victoria G. Ortiz and his brothers, Santana Ortez, Jesus Ortiz, Reymundo (Mundo) Ortiz, Rogelio Ortiz, Ramon Ortiz and Juan (Johnny) Ortiz.

Joe will be honored in a Celebration of Life on Saturday, September 20th, 2025, at R&R Event Center, 608 N Mirror St. Amarillo, Tx 79107 From 3pm-10pm
