Jose Manuel Fragoso

José Manuel Fragoso “Joey” “Big Frog” 43, passed away October 24, 2023. He was born on December 13, 1979 to his parents Juan De Dios Fragoso and Brenda May Snell Hernandez in Amarillo.

He was survived by his wife of 23 years, Susana Fragoso and his children, Joey Fragoso and Zara Fragoso. They were married in Amarillo, TX on March 19, 2003. He is survived by his father, mother, brother Juan J Fragoso and sister Edwina Gallardo. His in-laws Arturo and Gracie Martinez, Jorge and Laura Gonzalez Salinas, and several nieces and nephews.

“Joey” as he was affectionately known, was employed by Xcel Energy for 7 years and was a hardworking man for his family.  He was a great husband, father, son, brother, uncle, and friend to so many.

Joey was a graduate of Caprock High School 98’. He loved to travel with family and friends. He loved his Dallas Cowboys and was a quick-witted jokester.

He is preceded in death by a som, cousin, best friend, and grandparents.
