Johnnie Nell Smith

Johnnie Nell Smith, 69, of Amarillo, passed away on Monday, January 24, 2022 in Amarillo.  She was born on January 13, 1953 in Wichita Falls, Texas to the late James Elliott Holmes and Eula Geneva Fantroy Holmes.

She is survived by two children, Kiska Caldwell and husband Roderick of Kilgore and Kenneth Smith and wife Kaela of Pittsburgh, PA; grandson, Dalton Ray; great grandchild, Daz Ray; sister, Dorise Carey of Amarillo; brothers, James Holmes of Phoenix, AZ and Joe Holmes and wife Faye of Amarillo; numerous nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.  She was preceded in death by her husband, Jimmy Smith and her sister, Frankie Holmes.

A visitation will be held from 6:00 – 8:00 PM Friday, January 28, 2022 at LaGrone Blackburn-Shaw Funeral Directors, 1505 Martin Road, Amarillo.  Graveside services will be 11:00 AM Saturday, January 29, 2022 at Llano Cemetery.
