Jeanette Robbins, 76, of Amarillo, Texas, passed away on Thursday, April 23, 2026. Funeral services are scheduled for 2pm, Wednesday, April 29, 2026, at LaGrone Blackburn-Shaw Funeral Directors Coulter chapel.

Jeanette was born on April 1, 1950, in Amarillo, Texas, to Fred Ely and Fern Mickey Ely. She graduated from Canyon High School in 1968 and later continued her education in Colorado, where she earned her master’s degree in social work. Jeanette dedicated many years of service working in medical supply for a local hospital.

Jeanette found great joy in reading and appreciated books of all kinds. She was known for her unique sense of humor, often keeping her family smiling and on their toes. She also had a special love for her cats, who brought her much comfort and companionship.

Jeanette was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Marty Robbins and her brother, Quentin Ely.

Survivors left to cherish her memory are her siblings, Stan Ely, Mickey Ely, Wynona Helfenbein and Sharon Johnson; her grandchildren, Abbey Dalton, Daphne Dalton and Sawyer Dalton and her nieces and nephews.
