Guadalupe “Lupe” Longoria Bautista, of Amarillo, passed away October 7th, 2025 surrounded by loved ones at the age of 71.
Lupe was the youngest daughter of Francisco and Natalia Longoria.
Lupe was the heart of the Bautista family. Family meant everything to her, and she would often remind us that as long as we had each other, we had it all. She cherished every moment with her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She had a fulfilling career as a women’s and children’s nurse. In retirement, she continued her love of crafting and being creative with her sewing and quilting projects. She enjoyed all holidays, with Halloween being her favorite. Festively decorating the house brought her immense joy. Lupe had a gentle kindness, unwavering integrity and a strong love for the Catholic faith within her. Her beautiful eyes, kind smile, compassionate heart and words of wisdom were gifts to everyone who met her.
