Ginger Lee Fisher

April 20, 1971 — July 10, 2025

Amarillo

Ginger Lee (Loucks) Fisher, 54, of Amarillo, Texas, passed away on July 10, 2025, at home surrounded by her family and wrapped in their love.

Ginger was born to Mickey Loucks on April 20, 1971, in Tucumcari, New Mexico. Tucumcari was home for many years and is where she found her high school sweetheart turned devoted husband, Rusty Fisher for the past 37 years. Together, they have built a beautiful life, adding four children (Wesley, Darcy, Ty, and Rodey), a few trials, faith that could move mountains, and so much joy and laughter. Her greatest achievement was being BumBum/Ginga to her grandbabies and they will never doubt how much she loved each of them.

Ginger Fisher will forever be known for her amazing eye for beauty and creativity that she poured her all into for each and every creation. She had talents that could not be matched, and her work has touched many hearts over the years. We could always count on Ginger to bring a silver lining even when the odds were against her she fought to pull it all together and make things happen (even if it meant calling all hands-on deck for many all-nighters). She was selfless beyond measure, beautiful inside and out, she never met a stranger and if she did you left as family. To know her was to love her and to expect her presence as well as her tardiness! But she beat us all to Jesus and we will meet her there someday.

Ginger is preceded in death by her mother, Mickey Loucks and her grandmother, Lillian Lebow.

Ginger leaves behind her husband, Rusty; four children, Wesley and wife Shauna, Darcy and husband Kurtis Hightower, Ty and wife Madison and Rodey; seven precious grandbabies, Kenadee and Kealee Fisher; Khloe, Quinn and Kade Hightower; Kye and Karsyn Fisher; her siblings, brother John Loucks and wife Tresea, sister, Jolie Trujillo and brother-in-law Pecos Trujillo; one niece, Alex Slover; four nephews, Marcus, Matthew, Mason and Michael Trujillo and many more family and friends. We will all miss her dearly.
