Gertrudis Mariscal Ponce de León. La noche del 27 de abril de 2023, Gertrudis falleció en paz por causas naturales. Gertrudis tenía 96 años. Gertrudis Mariscal Ponce de León nació en la ciudad de Guerrero en Chihuahua México el 10 de julio de 1922. Fue la tercera hija de ocho y segunda hija de Eziquiel Ponce de León y Guadalupe Estrada. Era maestra de escuela en México y era querida por todos. A Gertrudis le encantaba pasar tiempo con su familia y siempre se aseguraba de que estuvieran bien atendidos. Le encantaba jugar bingo y completar crucigramas.
A Gertrudis le precedieron en la muerte: su esposo Alejandro Mariscal Sr., su hijo Arturo Mariscal, su padre Eziquiel Ponce de Leon, su madre Guadalupe Estrada, y sus hermanos.
A Gertrudis le sobreviven su hija Martha C. Mariscal, su nieto Alejandro Mariscal y su Nuera Magaly Mariscal.
El rosario se llevará a cabo el domingo a las 2:00 p. m. en LaGrone-Blackburn-Shaw Funeral Directors 1505 Martin Rd, Amarillo, TX 79107
La tumba y el monumento estarán ubicados en el cementerio LLano en 2900 S Hayes St, Amarillo, TX 79103
