Gabriel Garcia was born Feb. 3, 1976 in Plainview, Texas. He graduated from Palo Duro High School. Gabriel was a huge Seattle Seahawks fan and was a fan of wrestling. He loved to dance.
Survivors include his mother, Lucy Villarreal and stepfather, Gonzalo Ballin Jr., both of Amarillo; his father, Armando Garcia of San Antonio; two daughters, Jalynn and Makayla Garcia and their mother, Jalee Chavez, all of Amarillo; a sister, Amanda Miller and husband Michael of Sierra Vista, Ariz.; a brother, David Garcia of Amarillo; two stepsisters, Felisa and Jessica Ballin, both of Amarillo; a stepbrother, Geno Ballin of Amarillo; his grandfather, Porfirio Garcia of San Antonio; several aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews; and a host of friends.
The family suggests memorials be to Gabriel Garcia Benefit Fund at Happy State Bank.
