Floy Earl Willsey

Floy was born in Clinton to William Henry and Mary Lee Carnahan Willsey.  He graduated High School in Clinton and then attended the New England Conservatory of music and was an accomplished pianist. He later attended Court Reporting School. Floy spent most of his working life in San Francisco, CA. before retiring to Amarillo 15 years ago.  He served his country during WWII in the U.S. Army.
Survivors include his Nephews:  David and wife Sharla Willsey, of Amarillo, Larry and wife Carolee Willsey of Ft. Cobb, Okla. Bob and wife Karen Willsey of Oklahoma City. Nieces:  Betty Graham and Husband Grady of Grapevine, Texas, Karen Lynn Mugleston of Oklahoma City, Jerry Ann Longfellow of Missouri City, Texas
He was preceded in death by his parents; two brothers J.D. Willsey Sr. and LeRoy Willsey. Two sisters:  Anna B. Shelton and Frances Longfellow.
Mr. Willsey will lie in state today from 1:00pm until 8:00pm. at LaGrone Blackburn Shaw Coulter Road Chapel.
