Evin Andrew Sotelo passed away on April 16, 2026. Evin was born May 20, 2000, to Eduardo Bastardo Jr. and April Sotelo in Seminole, Texas.

Evin was preceded in death by his son, Evin Andrew Sotelo Jr, “EJ”, and Stepfather Clifton Ochoa.

Evin is survived by his parents, and Stepmother Claudia Bastardo; his partner Tori Gausin and daughter Ella Grace Sotelo; his grandparents Eduardo and Nicolasa Bastardo Sr., Enrique Vital and Rose Sotelo; his uncles, David Bastardo, Gabriel, Daniel, Ariel, and Eric Sotelo, Robert Ramirez; his aunts, Veronica Seiver- Billy, Elizabeth Merrick-Monty, Heather Bastardo; his brothers, Devin Bastardo- Paw, and Nathaniel Bastardo; his sisters, Jade and Julissa Ramos, and Maria “Boogie” Bastardo; his nephews, Brexten and Maximiliano Bastardo; many cousins; his godson Santos Gausin and goddaughter Melody Galan; and lots of extended family and friends of family.

Pallbearers include Nathaniel Bastardo, Robert Simental, Joshua Ramirez, Jorge Padron, Andy Cordova, Aaron Gausin, Erik Madsourivong, Marcus Galan, Joseph Castillo, and Anthony Trupe.

Evin Andrew Sotelo was a very charismatic, humorous, and loving person. He was known to be the Life of the Party. He had the ability to light up every room he walked into and fill it with laughter. His bright smile and compassionate heart left a lasting impression on everyone who crossed his path. A truly devoted family man, Evin was known for his quick wit and infectious sense of humor. He left his family with hearts full of love and minds full of hilarious memories. #TTM
