Obituary

Ernest Orosco, 75, passed away peacefully on October 11, 2026. He was born on October 27, 1950, in Idalou, Texas to Jose Orosco and Angelita Casias.

Ernest married the love of his life, Frances Ochoa, on December 3, 1967. Together, they shared a lifetime of love, memories, and family, celebrating 59 years of marriage.

Ernest worked for Amarillo Gear and was a man who found happiness in life’s simple joys. He had deep passion for his Harley, finding freedom and peace on the open road. Known for his playful spirit and sense of humor, Ernest was a jokester who loved making people laugh. He enjoyed listening to music in his truck, especially Tupac, and cheering on his favorite football team, the Washington Commanders. Some of his happiest moments were spent having cookouts, sharing memories, good food, and making memories with the family he loved so dearly.

Ernest is survived by his beloved wife, Frances Orosco and his children, Jessica Orosco of Fresno, California, Michael Orosco and his wife, Valerie, of Amarillo, Texas, Jesse Orosco and his wife, Lupe, of Fresno, California and Randy Orosco and his wife, Brandy, of Fresno, California.

He leaves behind cherished grandchildren, Michael Anthony Orosco, Frank Orosco, Brianna Orosco, Mariah Lara, Angelina Orosco, Malaki Orosco, Jesse Orosco, Alexis Quinonez, Jesseca Orosco and Randy Orosco Jr.

His legacy continues through his beloved great-grandchildren, Frank Orosco Jr., Jacob Quinonez, Levi Orosco, Elias Orosco, Jonathan Arenivas and Eliana Arenivas.

He is also survived by his siblings, Maria Rodriguez, Oscar Orosco, Fernando Orosco, Tomas Orosco, and Beto Orosco, all of Grand Rapids, Michigan.

Though Ernest journey on Earth has come to an end, the love he gave, the laughter he shared, and the memories he created will live on in the hearts of everyone who knew him. His family will forever remember his jokes, his music, his love for his Harley, and the special moments spent together around the cookout.

Rest in peace, Ernest. May the road rise to meet you, may the wind always be at your back and may you find eternal peace on the open road of Heaven. Your ride may be over, but your spirit will ride on forever in the hearts of those who love you.

You will be deeply missed, forever loved, and never forgotten.
