Eddie was born on April 24, 1952 in Dallas, Texas to Eddie J. and Nancy R. Fuqua. He worked as a machinist before retirement.
He is survived by his children, Teresa Carter, Eddie Fuqua II, Beau Fuqua and Destiny Fuqua; three sisters, Debbie Pelley, Sherry Hammons, and Darla Miller.
