Carol Anne Miranda

Carol Anne Miranda 80, of Amarillo, passed away May 29, 2024. She was born in Moranda, Quebec Canada on December 26, 1943 to Joseph and Simone Bandy.

She was a graduate of Tascosa High School, Amarillo College and West Texas University, earning her bachelor’s degrees in chemistry and art. Carol loved to travel, getting to experience Israel, Egypt, Greece, Peru, Italy and South America. She worked as a laboratory technician for 30 years for Northwest Texas Hospital and was a devout follower of the Bahai faith.

Carol is survived by her sisters Barbara (Leonard) Merchant, Lois (Ron) Blackmoore, best friend David Miranda, her five cats and many other family members. She is preceded by her parents Joseph and Simone Bandy.
