Carl was born on May 1, 1944 to Clarence and Hazel Henly in Amarillo. He worked many years as a Volkswagen repairman, having a special interest in the Volkswagen “bug.” He loved to fish. Carl will be remembered as a kind man who made many lifelong friends.
Survivors include: his spouse, Georgia Henly; his mother, Hazel Knittel; his sister, Bernice Barker and husband Samuel; brothers, Jimmy Henly and wife Joyce and Bill Henly and wife Lisa; daughter, Carla Stallings; 2 grandsons, Michael and Quentin Stallings; one great grandchild; stepchildren, Terri Robertson, Vicki Parsons, Jennette Brown, Mindy Smith and John Smith; many nieces and nephews and the extended families of the Couchs and Stallings.
He was preceded in death by his father.
