MEMORIAL SERVICES: 10:00 AM Monday, Sept, 30, 2013 at the LaGrone Blackburn Shaw Funeral Home, Coulter Road Chapel, 8310 S. Coulter Road, Amarillo, Texas with Garre LaGrone officiating.
BIOGRAPHY: Bob was born in Sweetwater, TX on March 23, 1947 unto Roy and Naomi Morris Burch. He died peacefully ay home surrounded by loved ones. Bobby was the youngest of three sons and grew up in Dumas and moved to Amarillo in the early 70’s. He served in the US Army from 1966 to 1968 receiving an honorable discharge. He worked for 31 years for Colorado Interstate Gas Company as a repairman. He was a faithful member of AA for 25 years. Bob was a lifelong learner, curious and loved projects and his animals. There was nothing he couldn’t fix. He loved the outdoors and gave himself freely to others and had a host of friends. He loved life and his family very much. The family requests the honor of your presence in joining together for a potluck lunch of fellowship and celebration of life immediately following the service at Moss Lane 3512 Moss Lane in Amarillo.
PRECEDED BY: his parents, a son Jonathan and a brother Jerry
SURVIVORS: his wife Susan of the home, his special friend, former wife and mother of his children Rosamary Burch., his daughter Melissa Robinson and husband Jason of Rhinelander, WI, a son William Burch of Amarillo, a brother Troy Burch and wife Joan of Junction, TX and sister in law Fern Burch of Cash, OK. Eight grandchildren, Chantal, Shiann, Raeleigh, Mariah, Jordon, Crislyn, Lexi, and Brooklyn a special nephew Everett Daniel who cared for Bobby for many years along with other nieces and nephews.
